“A lovely few days here in Alyth at St Louan’s, weather perfect, warm and sunny. I have enjoyed renewing my deep connections with Alyth and sharing it with my son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters (5 & 2). From Portland, Oregon, Reekie Linn and Glen Isla are beautiful, the new form the top of Alyth Hill amazing. The cottage gave us the perfect base and had everything we needed. “It has been very ‘short but sweet’ – a very brief overnight stay in such a superb cottage is nothing short of frustrating, we’ll return for a holiday one day”. Nicky, Claire and James (March 2015)

“St Louan’s has far exceeded our expectations in every way. We have been ‘blown away’ by how wonderful this ‘gem’ of a cottage/house is. We were not expecting such spacious, bright and airy rooms and to have three en suite bathrooms was wonderful. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard with a real attention to detail and with lovely furnishings (and exceptionally clean!) I will be recommending Vanora’s cottages to everyone I hear of needing accommodation in Scotland! Thanks so much for a lovely stay.” Lucy, Paul, Anna Olivia Dickinson-Hall (February 2015)

“Another lovely week in Alyth in this cosy, comfortable Perthshire retreat. We have now experienced both of Vanora’s Cottages and each has its own separate and warming appeal. This time we’ve had members of the family stay with us and share in the delights of Alyth and the surrounding countryside. There is so much to see and do here, a week is never long enough! (especially when you get the winter conditions we’ve been experiencing). Many thanks for kindness and hospitality.” Greg and Di Desson, Bramley, Surrey, England (January 2015)
